Organise a practice challenge
A practice challenge means that you practise on your instrument every day for a certain period of time and find sponsors for it! You get even better at music and raise money for Music for Children at the same time!
From now on, you can start your own practice challenge!
Donate an instrument
The foundation can often use instruments! We are especially happy with wind instruments (saxophones!!), but we can make children happy with many instruments! Do you have an instrument that is gathering dust and do you want it to get a good new destination? Give it to us! We will gladly give it to the kids.

Since 1 August 2020, the exhibition No man is an island, created by Monique Udo, can be admired online. Purchases can be made! The proceeds with some works entirely and with others partly to Music for Children. Super fun! 🙂

Setup your own action!
Do you have a great idea for your own action? Maybe you want to sell old clothes, bake cakes for birthdays, organise your own concert, do cool dances on King’s Day, or play street music on Dam Square. Super cool! Let us know, and we will write a post about your action on the website and our social media.

Currently, only Samira and Josien, the board (without remuneration) and a volunteer are working for the foundation. We can always use hands! Would you like to organise a benefit concert, set up a sponsorship action or perhaps travel to one of our projects yourself to give music lessons? Tell us about it! Stichting Muziek voor Kinderen is registered with the Amsterdam Chamber of Commerce under number 34343826 and has ANBI status. This makes donations eligible for tax deduction under certain conditions. All donations go to the projects themselves. Efforts from the Netherlands are voluntary and teachers travelling to the projects pay their own travel and accommodation expenses. Board members work entirely selflessly and receive no remuneration.
